Ezgi Özdemir

Ezgi is a passionate product and service designer, strategic innovation consultant, facilitator, and experienced coach. She creates meaningful experiences by focusing on the user and facilitates individuals and institutions to unleash their creative potential.

Ezgi, a graduate of Middle East Technical University’s Industrial Design department, attended the Design Master Thinking Executive Class at the Royal College of Art and completed Sabancı University’s Corporate Innovation and Design Thinking program.

Throughout her career, Ezgi has held positions as an activator and consultant in the goals of individuals and institutions to catch up with the age and product design, strategy and innovation consultancy, facilitation, and coaching positions. She worked as a design consultant and coach for companies such as Turkcell, Siemens, and Akbank. She took part in more than 40 product, experience, and automotive design projects with many international companies such as Piaggio, Scania, Helen Hamilyn Center, Turkish Airlines, and Migros. She took an active role as a researcher, designer, consultant, and facilitator at the intersection of design, technology, and education.

Ezgi, who is very excited about exploring innovation and realizing the potential, holds 4 patents, 4 utility model applications, and more than 5 design registrations. Creating empowering experiences, cultivating creative approaches, and directing complex collaborations are among her focal areas.

Ezgi joined ATÖLYE as a Learning and Organization Designer in 2019. She facilitates and coaches companies to transform the ecosystem focus and strengthen creative culture. In addition, as a service designer, she realizes her designing skills and user-oriented approach in different projects of ATÖLYE.

You can find Ezgi, with her special interest in explorations of the universe and dystopias, while writing science fiction stories outside of her job at ATÖLYE. When she does not think about the future, she turns to the past to study the history of art and design. In her spare time, she likes to visit exhibitions and galleries.
