I’m Aslı. I am a Service & Interaction Lead at ATÖLYE’s Strategic Design Studio. I believe that keeping a sense of humor while encouraging people to listen with an open heart to build empathy are the superpowers that I bring to cultivate playful, meaningful, and engaging learning environments for individuals and teams.
A designer with 10 years of experience across the spectrum of design, Aslı is currently the Service & Interaction Design Lead at ATÖLYE. Her expertise is in interdisciplinary projects at the crossroads of design, technology, and learning as a researcher, designer, and facilitator.
As a Service Designer, she works on complex challenges with transdisciplinary teams through human-centered design via research, strategy, co-creation programs, solution prototypes, and user testing.
As a facilitator, she produces and facilitates workshops and bootcamps on design thinking, team-building, and design for impact. She helps teams and empowers individuals to tackle design challenges at work and in life. She’s led Global Service Jam, Global Goals Jam, Designathons, and many other workshops.
Prior to ATÖLYE, her interactive projects were exhibited at Sony Wonder Technology Lab and IAC Building in New York while studying in the Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. She worked at Potion Design and on the studio’s popplet.com project, as well as co-founding the online education platform inekle.com. Aslı also worked as a senior UX designer at BBVA Garanti Bank, Turkey’s leading digital bank, as well as being the co-lead on algodijital.com, a digital citizenship and online coding platform funded by Google.org for Educational Volunteers of Turkey, a prominent educational non-profit in Turkey.
Some of her notable projects for ATÖLYE to date have been the Hurriyet Emlak C2C (Agent-free) Real Estate Experience, Akbank Affluent Banking Strategy & Experience Design, UAE Design Gov and Dubai Future Foundation Spatial Strategy & Experience Design projects.
